Nice place for a more modern sports bar. Love the shrimp and grits and the crunchy Brussel sprouts are phenomenal. They don't always have the drafts indicated on their list but supply issues are understandable right now. Not always my first choice of places to go but it does have a nice atmosphere and a few entrees that are favorites. UPDATE: Consistently out of beers on their draft list! The inside understanding is that the management is challenged with stocking the beers. This is extremely disappointing because it has been every single time I have been here that I've had to go to my second or third selection from the draft list. It really sort of Hollows out the place, unfortunately, otherwise it's nice. It's got a nice open sports bar appeal and they have lots of TVs available for events, nice outdoor seating area and the menu is decent.
I didn't get a chance to have their food, but from the comments below, I think I dodged a bullet, because it seems their food is not that great. I just want to comment on the customer service. My family and me decided to get take out from them, and we looked at the menu for a little while, than wrote down what we wanted, and I proceeded to call, and place the order. I did not expect to be treated like my business didn't matter. I called, and the girl that picked up, puts me on hold, only to tell me, we are really busy and asked if I could place the order online. So I said ok and hung up. I proceeded to put the order together online, and unbeknownst to me it was through Google, and I couldn't use my card, because of previous disputes I had with google. So I called them back, and tried to place the order over the phone, again, and the girl puts me on hold, than gets back on the phone to tell me, we are not taking orders over the phone for the night because we are too busy. I tried to tell her I was unable to put the order through online, and she tells me sorry but we are not taking orders over the phone for the night. So I just hung up with disappointment, as we wasted our time putting our order together, and had to scramble to find another place that was still opened. It felt like, well we have enough customers, so we don't need your business, tough luck. I'm sorry, but that is not how you treat a customer, who is placing an order through you the first time. That left an awful impression. I don't understand why the girl that answered the phone couldn't take our order, as she was able to continue answering the phone, and all the time it took to tell me, we are too busy to take orders over the phone, she could have simply took my order. Oh well, I won't be going there at all. They lost a good customer, as we usually always have big orders.
Fast service , good food and drink
A very disappointing visit - there were only 5 other tables seated and most of them were done eating. We waited quite a while to be greeted after being seated. Appetizer arrived and lacked napkins, utensils or plates, all of which were needed to actually eat… After asking yet again for plates, our server literally turned around and grabbed two small plates off the ledge of the servers area and handed them to us, they had food on them debris on them! A flat apology followed and we eventually received clean plates. We waited 45 minutes for our entrees, all while scanning around to see that only one table was eating, everyone else had ate. Our server was nowhere to be found. We finally flagged down another server and told them to have our food to go as we were ready to leave (now been there an hour) after several minutes the food came out in to go bags, at flat and nearly nonexistent “sorry” and the check. There appeared to be no one in a leadership role out on the floor for the entire time we were there. It’s a shame there is no attentiveness or concern here; we live local and want to eat local but not if this continues.
The restaurant was short on staff. We were made aware of the situation immediately and treated with great respect. Thank you to everyone working there for being polite and serving good food and drinks.
