Hunter came and diagnosed our pressure valve needed replacing. Went to work and was super fast and efficient. Water pressure went from 50 to 60!!! Great job for a super reasonable price

These people are AMAZING.
I called Yellow Dot and they said they would try to fit me in today, but most likely it would be Monday before they could come out (it is now Friday and 84 degrees upstairs).... Later they called back and said it would be weeks before they would get to me. Another place I called said it was at least two week.
My neighbor recommended Alexanders so I figured what the heck and call to see how long it would be for them. After a few minutes on hold, they said they moved some people around and would be at my home by 6PM TODAY. I was concerned about "after hours service fees" and they said their regular hours are until 9 PM.... I have never heard of that in my life!!!
Darrick and Dave were fantastic and not only fixed my unit but educated me on the unit and the test equipment that they use.
No one else but Alexanders will ever touch my AC / Heating unit.

Below is my original review which I rated as 2.
Within a few hours of the original review the owner Mr. Alexander called me himself. He was very polite and understanding and asked if there was a way he could make my experience better. He reviewed the initial quote and provided me with some insight I didnt have, as well as I providing him with some insight I don't think he had. He agreed to reassess the quote provided to me, a number which wasn't bad, however I had already contacted additional companies and told him I wouldn't want to cancel those appointments which he understood.
Either way the professionalism of the company as well as their cleanliness is exceptional, the follow through from owners and staff is excellent as well. I'm hoping that with more dialogue between staff and I, we can get a better understanding on a reasonable price to suit all parties involved.
They have a very professional outward experience and James the plumbing manager is very nice and understanding however, they are incredibly over charging for small residential services. I will NEVER use them or recommend them for anything. I understand that with trades, you will pay more and they hold the skills but for cutting 2 spots in a pipe and reinstalling new pipe, when the hole is already in the ceiling and wanting over $1,000.00 not a chance.
The owner is very greedy .
Will not use, do not recommend.

We had Skylar come out last week and then John came out today. Both were incredibly helpful, professional, and kind. From the service coordinator that assisted us in scheduling our visits to the techs that came out and serviced our unit, all were very professional and helpful! Thank you!!

Technician talked in circles not making much sense when asked questions. Technician immediately stated that due to the age of my unit he is not sure that he would continue to invest on getting it fixed rather than just getting a new one installed. When I asked him what it would take to get it up and running he stated that I would need a new capacitor and coolant but had no idea how much of the coolant it would need. He also informed me that it would be $3,000 for a diagnostic on the coolant leak and $10-15k to replace one unit. I explained to him that I had just replaced the capacitor on our other until, only being charged $150, and he said that to have the other replaced would be $350. Mind you the capacitor online is $18.00. Then when I asked how much the coolant would cost per lb he said that it would be $400/lb, but he did not know how much I would need. When I looked back at previous statement charges for my ac I mentioned that I was only charged $40/lb previously. He got very defensive and said that out of the 10 years that he has been working he has never seen coolant that cheap before and the person that fixed my unit previously must not know what he is doing. I will never use this company again.
